Il Teatrino accoglie la seconda giornata del convegno “Fluid Geographies. Reconsidering the Notion of Border in Contemporary Art”, dedicato a come l’arte affronta il tema dei confini fisici e metaforici, soprattutto dalla prospettiva della fotografia e delle immagini in movimento, con la partecipazione di artisti, curatori e studiosi.
A fine giornata, verrà presentato e discusso dai curatori e da alcuni autori il libro Venice, an Archipelago of Art and Ecologies (transcript, 2025), sull’ecosistema culturale veneziano al tempo della crisi climatica, nato dalla partnership tra i centri di ricerca Zwischenräume e NICHE.
Il convegno è organizzato da Cristina Baldacci (Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia) e Christina Hainzl (University for Continuing Education Krems), in collaborazione con Centro Tedesco di Studi Veneziani, Palazzo Grassi — Pinault Collection Venezia e Lungomare.
