Venice in Cineconcerto. Mirabili visioni dagli anni del cinema muto presents an evening of screenings of rare silent films shot in Venice and the lagoon, from the birth of cinema to the 1920s, and accompanied by a vocal and musical ensemble composed of Marco Centasso, Giovanni Mancuso and Sofia Pozdnyakova. The event is curated by Marco Bertozzi and Nicoletta Traversa of the Iuav University of Venice.

Venezia in Cineconcerto is part of the study day that the Iuav University dedicates to the representation of the Venetian landscape in silent films and is promoted by the Venetian unit of the national research project Revisualizing Italian Silentscapes 1896-1922 (RevIS).
