Talk with Ronan Bouroullec
Ronan Bouroullec is, together with his brother Erwan, one of the most famous designers worldwide. Their unconventional approach in designing daily objects, furniture and architectures led them to collaborate with the most important manifacturers (Vitra, Kartell, Cappellini, Magis, Flos amongst others), display their works in the major institutions of Industrial Design and include their projects in the most important collections such as the Centre Pompidou, the Museum of Modern Art of New York, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Design Museum of London. Every project is derived from an accurate formal and technological research and characterised by a meticulous design, a work on modular elements, the reorganisation of spaces and the use of color, together with a strong interest in an hand-crafted approach in the production process.
Ronan Bouroullec presents his book Juillet (Nieves, Zurich 2018) and talks with Marco Campardo ans Lorenzo Mason (M–L–XL).
The talk is organised by Galleria Giorgio Mastinu in collaboration with Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana.
