Talk with Dany Laferrière and Alain Mabanckou
Dany Laferrière, Member of the Académie française, and Alain Mabanckou, Professor at the Collège de France, are among the influential authors of contemporary Francophone culture. For the first time in Italy both authors are together for a conversation and readings dedicated to their most recent works.
Durind the night there are readings in the original language of extracts of L'art presque perdu de ne rien faire by Dany Laferrière and Petit Piment by Alain Mabanckou, followed by the Italian translations thanks to readers of Casa delle Parole. The authors discuss their work with Marie-Christine Jamet, Director of Alliance française de Venise.
