The conference focuses on the management of change within cultural institutions, in particular marketing as a tool of strategies to increase different target audiences online, off-site and online. Laura Miller presents the case of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, where she has directed the marketing department for over twenty years. After a career in the corporate world at American Express, Laura Miller moved to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York in 1995 and has taught at New York University in the Department of Arts since 2004.
