The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi presents a conference with the architect, winner of the Pritzker Prize, Tadao Ando (Osaka, 1941).
The architect meets the public in the spaces of one of his most exceptional renovation projects in Italy: the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi, opened in 2013, after the restoration of Palazzo Grassi (2006) and Punta della Dogana (2009) as two contemporary art museum.
The lecture focus on Ando's poetics and the secrets of the long and intense career that led him to become one of the most important architects in the world.
The meeting is preceded by a gallery talkled by the architect through the rooms of Punta della Dogana, which is currently hosting the exhibition Luogo e Segni, curated by Mouna Mekouar and Martin Bethenod.
