On the occasion of the new edition of Art Night Venezia, the exhibitions 'CHRONORAMA' at Palazzo Grassi and 'Icônes' at Punta della Dogana are open for free to the public Saturday 17 June 17 from 8 pm to midnight (last admission at 11 pm).
The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi hosts the screening of the video work akingdoncomethas (105', 2018) by Arthur Jafa, scheduled at 8.15 pm and at 10 pm. The work investigates the question of the status of the image, at the heart of the show 'Icônes', through a montage composed of gospel songs and sermons recorded within Black congregations in the United States.
