The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi presents a screening of films selected by Luc Tuymans, in relation to his monographic exhibition "La Pelle - Luc Tuymans".

22 June: Screening of Don’t Look Now by Nicolas Roeg (UK, 1973, 1h50’), Rundskop by Michaël R. Roskam (Belgium, 2011, 2h04’), Caniba by Véréna Paravel and Lucien Castaing-Taylor (France, 2017, 1h30’).
16 September: Screening of Le Mépris (1963, 105’), by Jean-Luc Godard.
30 September: Screening of Les Yeux sans visage (1960, 85’), by Georges Franju.
14 October: Screening of There Will Be Blood (2007, 158’), by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Delving deeper into the world of Luc Tuymans through his exhibition and his words

In 2019, Palazzo Grassi presented Italy’s first solo exhibition of Luc Tuymans (Mortsel, Belgium, 1958), considered one of the most influential artists on the international scene. The exhibition is entitled ‘La Pelle’ (‘The Skin’) - taken from Curzio Malaparte’s 1949 book.

Palazzo Grassi is open every day, except on Tuesday, from 10 am to 7 pm. Last entry at 6.15 pm. Closed on 25th December. Punta della Dogana reopens on 6 April 2025.
