In the masterclass "Apparati Radicali", the visual aspects of the right to housing in Venice will be explored, collecting verbal and visual notes on the policies that condition the lives of those living in the lagoon. Through the creation of a paper archive, the tensions between residency and tourism, between roots and spaces in transformation, between those who resist, those who re-exist and those who are forced to leave - in a process of reformulation of the very concept of ‘home’ and ‘living’ - will be investigated.
At the end, each participant will receive a copy of the collectively created publication. No technical expertise or knowledge of graphic software is required.
The Masterclass "Apparati Radicali" is led by the researcher, author and editor Noemi Biasetton, in collaboration with OCIO (Osservatorio CIvicO sulla casa e la residenzialità) and bruno, graphics studio.
