Éliane Radigue. Kyema

A live listening session in the Cube at Punta della Dogana, the iconic room that hosts Pierre Huyghe new work Camata. The immersive experience presents Kyema (1988, 61’07), the first part of Trilogie de la Mort by electronic music pioneer and composer Éliane Radigue. Widely considered one of her masterpieces, the work refers to the intermediate states of consciousness (Birth, Dream, Contemplation— Meditation, Death, Bright light, Crossing and Return). Radigue’s music echoes Huyghe’s work by inviting the audience to explore metaphysical experience and reveal the intangible.

Kyema is presented by François Bonnet in a reel-to-reel tape edition made from the original master, one of a series produced by Blank Forms in collaboration with Radigue for the high-quality presentation of her work.

Special hours of the exhibition “Liminal” from 6 pm to 7 pm
