Accessibility Guide and LIS presentation of the exhibitions "Julie Mehretu. Ensemble" and "Pierre Huyghe. Liminal".

The Accessibility Guide and videos in Italian Sign Language accompany visitors to discover the exhibitions "Julie Mehretu. Ensemble" and "Pierre Huyghe. Liminal".

On the occasion of "Julie Mehretu. Ensemble" and "Pierre Huyghe. Liminal" Palazzo Grassi offers visitors an Accessibility Guide, produced in collaboration with Carlo di Biase, art historian and museum accessibility expert, Consuelo Frezza, editor, and Davy Mariotti, interpreter and translator in International Sign. Visitors are accompanied on a tour of the exhibitions with brief introductions to the themes and explanations of a selection of works and images.

In the Guide, available online and at the entrance to Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana, there are texts in simple Italian. A playlist of video presentations in Italian Sign Language is accessible to everyone online.

Ensemble means "together": in fact, in the exhibition at Palazzo Grassi you can admire the works of Julie Mehretu and those of other artists. They all share common experiences of migration and displacement and have shared part of their lives and professional careers.

Liminal is an English word meaning "on the edge". Indeed, the works presented at Punta della Dogana are a bridge between human and the non-human worlds.
