Matthew Day Jackson, born in California in 1974 and currently based in Brooklyn, is a versatile artist. His artistic creations take the form of sculptures, paintings, collages, photographs, drawings, videos, performances and installations. The sur works presented at Palazzo Grassi have been specially commissioned for the exhibition Il Mondo vi appartiene and present his vision of the future of humanity through references to the past.
