Grand Tour is back with new appointments dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, experiences, ideas and goals among museums and institutions. After Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, and Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Florence, the Centre Pompidou, Paris, is the guest of the third edition and is invited to organise talks and workshops for the Venetian public.

The author and art critic Jean-Yves Jouannais presents his book Les barrages de sable. Traité de castellologie littorale (Paris, Grasset, 2014), a study on the ritual of building sandcastles, the origins of this tradition, its etymology and its symbolic meaning.
