On the occasion of the last day of the exhibition ‘Bruce Nauman: Contrapposto Studies’ at Punta della Dogana, the Teatrino presents the screening of the documentary dedicated to the cycle of performances ‘Dancing Studies’. ‘Dancing Studies - Bruce Nauman a Venezia’ follows the four appointments with the world-reknown choreographers William Forsythe, Lenio Kaklea, Pam Tanowitz and Ralph Lemon who, between April and June 2022, presented in Venice performances inspired by the works of Bruce Nauman. The documentary underlines the importance and influence the American artist has on visual arts, performance and on the artistic research on sound.
The documentary is a Sky Arte production in collaboration with Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana and was directed by 3D Produzioni. The cycle ‘Dancing Studies’ was supported by Bottega Veneta.
The documentary ‘Dancing Studies - Bruce Nauman a Venezia’ (28') is screened at the Teatrino.
