After the success of the first appointment with Michel Portal, Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana, in collaboration with Teatro Fondamenta Nuove, have organised another event Carte Blanche, conceived to invite some of the most significant artists to imagine concerts or performances specifically for the spaces of Palazzo Grassi, Punta della Dogana and the Teatrino.
Arto Lindsay is an artist who for the past forty years has been evolving between music and visual and performative arts. One of the main representants of the New York No Wave of the late 70's, Arto Lindsay has created music between Brazil and rock, both soft and loud. He has collaborated with artists such as Vito Acconci, Laurie Anderson, Matthew Barney, Caetano Veloso and Rirkritt Tiravanija and has elaborated in a personal way the concept of "parade" of the Brazilian carnivals.
