As an extension outwards from her sonic vibration installation Prime (2016), presented in the exhibition “Icônes” at Punta della Dogana, Camille Norment’s performance moves through tone, voice, vibration, breath, and rhythm in collaboration with the distinguished invited guests Hamid Drake on percussion, and Mette Henriette on saxophone. Camille Norment performs on glass armonica, electronics, and voice.  The sonic world they create is a layered stratosphere emerging from an innovative spectrum of blues/folk/jazz traditions to contemporary experimental music.

Camille Norment is also at the Teatrino on Tuesday 17 October 2023 for a public talk with Marie-José Mondzain and fellow artist Kimsooja.
