Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana is pleased to join the Ca' Foscari Short Film Festival presenting Temps mort, by Mohamed Bourouissa.
To make the film Temps mort the artist has established a system of exchange of mini-video sequences, made with mobile phones and sent by mms, with two prisoners. He asked for testimonies of daily life in prison and sent them in exchange for images of external life: the streets of Paris, a night of love, landscapes by the sea... Far from sensationalism or pathos, these sequenced scenes reveal a singular poetry of reality.
