"Art Conversation" is a series of meetings with great artists of the world contemporary scene at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi.
24 September: Syrian artist Simone Fattal, featured in the exhibition “Luogo e Segni”, in dialogue with Mouna Mekouar, curator of the exhibition at Punta della Dogana, and Lorenzo Giusti, Director of GAMeC of Bergamo.
10 October: Belgian artist Luc Tuymans, in dialogue with Marc Donnadieu and Jarrett Earnest, art critics and authors of the exhibition catalogue essays. During his career, Luc Tuymans has contributed to the rebirth of the pictorial medium in contemporary art and has focused his works on the power of images. The talk aims to explore the work of one of the most influential artists on the international scene through the exhibition “La Pelle”, composed of over eighty paintings dating from the mid-80s to the present, and investigate the use of images in Tuymans’ creative process.
